Since leaving corporate America, Jim Ciurlik has provided tax and wealth management oversight services to healthcare business owners, small business owners, executives and individuals. Jim has extensive experience in business and personal tax planning, accounting system design and oversight and retirement distribution planning.

Jim’s prior corporate experience was with Arthur Anderson, Ernest Young, Miller Brewery, Oscar Mayer, and the National Bank of Commerce (bought by Sun Trust). He acquired General Management or ownership experience with a greeting card company, a wine and beer distributor and importer, and three start-up web companies. As a child, Jim learned the challenges of running a small business in his family’s specialty grocery store.

Educational Background:

Jim graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Milwaukee and a Master of degree in Administration from the University of Wisconsin Madison. At UWM, he received the school’s “Scholar-Athlete Award” three years.

Interests and Hobbies:

Jim is a self-proclaimed foodie and enjoys cooking, growing, or looking for good ingredients for his next food or beverage project. Jim likes staying active and swims, bikes and cross-country skis.  He is also an avid fisherman and hunter.

The state historical society recognizes his family as a “Pioneering family to the State of Wisconsin,” which indicates his ancestors have been in the state for more than 150 years.
